About this picture
FACOM 6232A Graphic Display."
- In this old picture, I am operating an interactive program using a light pen to analyze electron-spin-resonance (ESR) spectroscopy data. The program (about 2,000 lines of FORTRAN code) was written by me for my graduation project. This picture was taken in 1979.
- The round CRT shown here is a vector-scan display "FACOM 6232A Graphic Display."
- The program was running on FACOM 230-35.
Self-introduction†
- I am a professor in the Faculty of Sciences at the Ochanomizu University, Tokyo, Japan.
My research interests include Human Computer Interaction in the future, where computers are ubiquitous and help our daily life through real objects such as printed papers, stationeries , and furniture.
